Community-based rehabilitation programme
We believe family involvement is an essential part of the recovery process. We remain in touch with the children's families, discussing medical conditions, need of surgery, education, as well as providing them with counselling and support. We hold camps in different villages and invite qualified personalities from the medical profession to counsel the villagers. We help the disabled to undergo surgery free of cost and to get aids and appliances. Up to now we helped 42 cases for free surgeries. We teach the parents to do simple physiotherapy at home, for disabled children.

Medical camp
Premjyoti is very much involved in the medical care of children. Medical aid is given to all children who fall sick or injured. We organize health check-up camps every-year for the school students and outsiders. Spastic and physically handicapped students undergo physiotherapy.

Hostel facilities
We give hostel facilities to disabled children who comes for corrective surgery or any other treatment from distant villages or districts. We keep them till they do not get cured. We are planning to give hostel facilities to both disabled and able orphan children who are interested in studies but due to poverty they cannot attend school.
